Disability, childhood experiences of violence and associated health outcomes in refugee settlements in Uganda

This resource examines prevalence and experiences of childhood sexual, physical and emotional violence in connection to the disability status. It looks at the profile of the perpetrator and the negative health outcomes associated with experiencing childhood violence.

While the resource is based on the findings of a survey conducted in Uganda, they can be applied more broadly to understand the impact of childhood violence on people with disabilities.
