The gender dimensions of forced displacement: a synthesis of new research

This resource explains how gender inequality affects the extent and patterns of different dimensions of poverty in forcibly displaced populations. It also explores how conflict and displacement affect gender norms and the prevalence of intimate partner violence (IPV) and child marriage for women and girls. It provides a set of recommendations for the design and implementation of policies and programmes looking at improving safety and providing economic opportunities for displaced women.
