This podcast shares lessons learned during the process of establishing the Equality Fund. It explains how the experiences of feminist movement actors were incorporated into the design of the fund and sets out new ideas for the role of the government in bringing on social change.
The series consists of three episodes:
- part 1: From match to movement, explaining the origins of the Equality Fund
- part 2: The winning bid, looking into the investment model and creating links between investment and activism to advance feminist movements
- part 3: From policy to promise, spotlighting the role of the Canadian government in the launch of the Equalities Fund and the collaboration between the government, philanthropy and private sector.
