The report also sets out the experiences and barriers to inclusion that older people and people with disabilities face across a range of humanitarian themes and contexts.
This resource covers the following sectors:
- meaningful participation and localisation
- inclusive preparedness
- data-driven inclusion
- improving accessibility
- water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)
- gender-based violence (GBV).
The case studies included in the catalogue highlight unique innovations, such as filmmakers amplifying the voices of older aged people and people with disabilities affected by natural disasters, affordable wheelchairs designed with emergency settings in mind, dignified and adaptable WASH facilities for menstrual health management amongst others.
