The fourth Women’s Forum will be held in Apia, Samoa between 21-22 October 2024. The forum will provide a platform for participants to discuss challenges, share best practices and agree on actions and recommendations to carry forward to the leaders of the Commonwealth.
Set up in 2015, the Commonwealth Women’s Forum brings together delegates from around the Commonwealth, including civil society, youth and the private sector, to highlight women’s political, economic and societal contributions while identifying policies to advance gender equality and peace for all.
The Forum’s programme includes lead up consultative events, plenary sessions, and workshops focusing on 4 areas affecting women:
- Women in leadership
- Women’s economic empowerment
- Gender and climate change
