This resource is a gender assessment tool, based on existing good practice in the development sector, to support gender-specific capacity building with organisations of people with disabilities . It proposes a number of ways this can be done to:
- support discussion and awareness raising of gender issues and practical action which can be taken to promote gender inclusion
- analyse gender inclusion issues and practice within the organisation in a systematic way
- identify specific areas for improvement on gender inclusion
- identify capacity building support needed to address the issues raised
- track progress on gender inclusion over time
